The PDGA has been hinting at a new PDGA design over the past few weeks on social media. They started with a history of the PDGA logo, as well as all the logos that had been developed since it’s inception.
Today, February 15th, 2023, marks the beginning of a new legacy in the history of the PDGA. They officially unveiled their new logo, replacing the logo most disc golfers have known and grown accustomed to.

There was serious planning and thought that has gone into the development of the new logo.
It is also no coincidence that the PDGA wanted to roll out their new logo ahead of the 2023 Las Vegas Challenge, which officially ushers in the 2023 Pro Disc Golf Tour.
Today is also the 1st day of the Inaugural Disc Golf Industry Conference being put on by the DGPT.

It’s only been released for a few hours, but I’ve started to see mixed reactions.
Some people really liking it, while others are stating that it looks too generic.
Only time will tell how the logo will age, but one thing I will miss is the ‘Throwing man’ image as part of the logo.
